Installation Notes
- Confirm inner diameter is 45.00 mm (1.772 in), outer diameter is 83.00 mm (3.268 in), and width is 44.00 mm (1.732 in) before installation.
- This bearing has an integrated magnetic encoder in one of the seals – use a Magnetic Encoder Detector to verify ABS side before mounting.
- Keep the bearing away from strong magnetic sources until installation to protect the integrated ABS sensor ring.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the wheel bearing unit or remove the seals – this will cause permanent damage.
- ABS sensors are fragile and may be damaged during bearing removal/installation – consider having a replacement sensor available.
- Press the bearing into the hub using appropriate tools – never strike with a hammer.
- Torque the hub nut to manufacturer specifications (refer to the Peugeot service manual).
