Colombia and Chile Automotive Market Background
Colombia combines domestic vehicle assembly with imported vehicles and components, creating a mixed fleet across passenger, commercial, bus, and freight applications. Bogota, Medellin, and Cali are major regional business centers, so meetings in all three cities will help DUHUI compare distribution, workshop, and product-range requirements within the country.
Chile relies more heavily on imported vehicles and auto parts, with Santiago serving as its principal commercial and distribution center. A vehicle population exceeding six million, as described in DUHUI’s market planning material, supports continuing demand for maintenance and replacement products as vehicles remain in service.
These differences make the two-country route useful for automotive bearing discussions. Customers may share similar concerns about application accuracy and supply continuity, but their preferred product ranges, order patterns, and distribution structures can vary by market.
Direct Automotive Aftermarket Communication
Established in 2003 and based in Zhejiang, China, DUHUI manufactures automotive bearings and also offers selected chassis and engine parts. The planned meetings will allow the company to discuss application needs and purchasing priorities directly with businesses serving the Colombian and Chilean automotive aftermarkets.
The trip will begin on January 28, Chinese New Year’s Eve in 2025. DUHUI’s team will continue responding to customer inquiries during the Spring Festival while Max carries out the market visit.
By visiting several cities in one regional trip, DUHUI aims to maintain customer relationships, hear market-specific requirements, and support clearer communication around automotive bearing and component sourcing.
